The course aims to lay the theoretical foundations for these clinical situations so that the practitioner will know (at a theoretical level) the full range of solutions possible through the practice of modern endodontics.
Therefore, the theoretical part will cover the following topics:
→ How to establish diagnosis and prognosis in endodontics;
→ How we do case selection;
→ How we point out CBCT scans and how we navigate through them;
→ How we develop an endodontic treatment plan and communicate it to the patient;
→ How we install an effective anaesthetic;
→ How we isolate with a dam;
→ Design the access cavity to minimise the sacrifice of dental tissue;
→ Negotiating dental canals;
→ How to determine the working length;
→ How we instrument and how we establish the apical diameter, how and why we irrigate;
→ Root filling;
→ Communicating with the patient, post endodontic treatment medication and evaluating the progress of treated cases.
